What's Your New Year's Resolution
Ever wonder what some of the famous people in the music industry are doing for resolutions this year? Here are a few that can be used by celebs and execs if they're interested in them...

Christina Aguilera - Resolve to put a few more articles of clothing on her body so she doesn't look like a cheap stripper on the prowl

Ozzy Osbourne - Resolve to 'get a real life' and stop bilking the MTV crowd out of their time and money

Paul McCartney - Resolve to keep the order of things in their prospective place (Come on, Paul. It's always been Lennon and McCartney...Not the other way around)

The Rolling Stones - Resolve to stop touring, making records and trying to be the act they were fifteen years ago (I've seen corpses that look more alive than Keith Richards)

Classic Hits program directors - Resolve to look into the archives and start playing more songs from the 70's and 80's by other artists besides The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Stones and The Dead

US radio execs - Resolve play more Canadian artists in the States (These singers and groups are working their butts off to be original but the US record buying public would rather play it safe and follow the crowd)

US record execs - Same as above but also adding that they sign singers and groups on talent and not looks

Curt Cobain followers - Resolve to wake up and realize that the man is not and will never be the voice of an entire generation (The only person to come close to speaking to a generation - or two - is John Lennon. And Curt Cobain isn't even in the same league)

Newspaper reviewers - Resolve to actually know something about the subject they are reviewing for an upcoming concert or album release

Record companies - Resolve to get their act together and give the music buying public what they want - cheaper CD's and a chance to download songs for little or no money

Boy bands and so called divas - Resolve to stop doing addle minded acts and saying senseless things so the general public doesn't have to read about your exploits in the local newspaper
