The Question Bag
Here are the top ten questions I've received in the last month. Okay...
At least the ten questions that were printable...
- Don't you think that Britney's just the greatest?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...She needs to get a new opening line.
I think Miss Britney has inundated radio and TV long enough with
her doctored voice and those clothes that she borrowed from a ten year old. And
besides - Her initials say it all - B.S.
- I'm bummin. Just heard the Stones aren't gonna tour. Any comments?
- There is a God after all! I read that if they did tour it was
going to be called the 'Tour of the Living Dead'.
- I'm in love with Shaggy. Don't you just love 'Angel' and 'It Wasn't
Me'?
- Rap? Reggae? Hip-hop? Dance? What is it? And how come 90% of all
rap songs I hear have to sample other artist's work? No creativity?
- Any thoughts on the next 'N Sync album?
- What a waste of good vinyl.
- The Black Crowes and Oasis touring together. This must be heaven.
- The mud slinging. The name calling. The fist fights. And that's
just in the dressing rooms.
- So who's going to be Van Halen's new singer? Is David Lee Roth
coming back?
- Who knows...? Who cares...? Sammy was the best thing to ever happen
to that group. Since Van Hagar is no more I have no interest or desire to
listen to the group. Eddie...You blew it.
- Don't you think Aerosmith should hang up the guitars and scarves
and just retire?
- Yeah, sure...Along with Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, U2, The Eagles
and every other act from the 70's and 80's that are outselling all the
new 'up & coming' acts of recent years.
Here's a question for
you. How come The Beatles had the #1 album for so long...considering
they broke up in 1970?
- What do you consider the best cruising song out there?
- It would have to be Tom Cochrane's 'Life Is a Highway'. Mid-July...
Top down...90 MPH...Just shove your foot into the carburetor and let
the back beat do the rest.
- Who's the best boy band?
- Too easy...The Beatles
- How come you slammed Madonna in your Grammy's article? Especially after
all she's done for the music industry.
- And that would be what...? Being a boy toy bitch who thinks she
can record her laundry list and make it a #1 hit? When she stops living
on her laurels and gets creative again, maybe...maybe...I'll change my
mind. But to be honest...'Music' sucked.
But then again...
That's all until next month's question bag...

Quote of the Week
"The Rolling Stones are a huge touring band but don't sell that many records
any more, while we do. Aerosmith sell lots in America but not so many in Europe,
and I can't really think of anyone else." - The Edge on why U2 may be the biggest
band in the world.
